This is going to be a quick post. The last thing I wanted to do is trigger any problems when getting to the ship. So I made sure to organize things in a way that I had everything in a convenient location when we got to the cruise terminal. I made extra sure to set things up in a way that would make sense when I would be in a rush and not have time to think. My passport and boarding pass was safely stored in my backpack, along with the computer I'd be making daily blog entries. My clothes were stuffed into suitcases, and my main CPAP machine was attached to my carry-on bag, so that I wouldn't forget it at RQS's place.
RQS, on the other hand, was still doing her last minute packing, while I was sitting on the sofa watching TV. She had a luxury that I didn't have - extra days to pack, as we were leaving from her place. She was ready around 10 pm, and we were finally able to relax and prepare ourselves emotionally for the trip yet to come.

Now that I got the essentials out of the way, I should note that I got small bills from my bank before packing up the CPAP machine for the trip to RQS's place. She tasked me with picking up snacks, and I found a big bag of Twizzlers for us to munch on. Neither of us needed to have this sugary treat, but I figured that it would take up less space than pretzels, and would be consumed more slowly. I'm still not sure if this was a wise choice. But, you only live once - unless you're James Bond.
